Originally built in 1929, the hall was improved and extended with lottery funding in 2001, so that it now boasts a spacious new kitchen, toilet facilities and storage rooms. Another significant upgrade was made in 2012.

The hall is available for weddings, parties, concerts, jumble sales, dances, lessons, club meetings etc. The hall itself is 16 metres by 9 metres. Car parking currently exists for approximately forty cars.
Drumoak Church Hall is located right next to Drumoak Church and is used for many church and local community events including Messy Church, SPLAT, Jolly Tots and Drop In Cafe.

The venue can also be hired for other occasions and events such as birthday parties, ceilidhs, concerts, coffee mornings or organisation meetings.

Kirkton Hall is situated just 14 miles west of Aberdeen in Kirkton of Durris.  It stands on the edge of Durris Forest, just 50 metres from the South Deeside Road.

The Hall has been completely refurbished, transforming it into a modern venue with all the charm of a period building. It is managed and maintained to a very high standard by enthusiastic local volunteers.
